Greetings. This is part 2 of the March 27, 2026 blog entitled, “Worldly (Single) Men of the Cross.” The previous post (on this subject) addressed what was told to Mae by others. This post is about a recent encounter Mae had with a single “so-called” man of the cloth. Yes, “so-called” is right. This individual wanted to compromise with Mae. Mae informed the individual that it WASN’T going to happen.  What is more disturbing is this individual preaches to individuals about not engaging in the same thing he wants to engage in.  To hear him preach, one would think he is living an upright life as a man of the cloth. He is not. It also disturbs Mae that he had the audacity to think that Mae would sin with him. He needs to remove himself from the pulpit/stage until he can control that spirit of lust. To the man Mae is blogging about: “May you realize that you are a hypocrite and you are not practicing what you are preaching.  You are leading the people astray. Ask God to help you with your lust.” Someone told Mae she  should be flattered that he approached her. Why should Mae be flattered? Flattered because a single man (of the cloth) approached her with foolishness? A disclaimer: Mae is not talking about all single men of the cloth; she is specifically talking about the ones who are not practicing what they preach…
