Greetings. Yes, it’s been a minute. Mae comes to you today to discuss the birthday that almost got hijacked, as well as forgotten. Every year on Mae’s birthday, there is an individual who wishes Mae a happy birthday then starts talking about everyone’s birthday but Mae’s. Then there’s the close family members, who Mae has done so much for, that forget year after year. Well, this year, Mae refused to lend an ear to the individual who wants to acknowledge everyone’s birthday but Mae’s. For the close family members who forget Mae’s birthday, Mae reminded them, when they asked for favors, that they forgot Mae’s birthday. You may say Mae is being petty, and maybe you are right. Also, Mae refused to talk to anyone (on her day) who irritates Mae when it’s not Mae’s birthday. Guess what? Due to the above, Mae actually had a peaceful  and wonderful birthday.
