Mae went to a funeral today. The service was awesome. The preacher told the congregation that Jesus Christ is the only way and he had the congregation to close their eyes and he told all those who wanted to accept Christ, to raise their hands. Mae’s eyes were partially open. Yes. Mae doesn’t always follow directions. Well Mae saw a young lady, a few rows ahead of Mae, with her hands raised. Mae’s first criticism is: the pastor did not have the individuals recite the salvation prayer, instead he told them to see a lady who he had to stand up. Mae’s second criticism is: there were too many people outside, so it would be hard finding the lady. Well, Mae saw the girl who raised her hand, and wondered how she would get to her to help finish the salvation process. After leaving out of the pews, it was crowded in the aisle. How about the young lady ended up standing beside Mae. Mae knows this blog is long. Sorry. Mae is almost finished. Mae told the young lady (who raised her hand) if she wanted to complete her salvation journey, to call Mae. Guess what? As of this writing, Mae has not heard from the young lady. Maybe someone else completed the process. It’s okay because Mae did her part. May you know that once you do your part, you have to let go and let God.
Amen , I loved the post. And you are so right, Once you do your part you have to let it go and put it in God’s hands.
