Mae attended a virtual funeral today. The deceased’s life spoke for him. It was obvious that he was a believer and did outstanding spiritual work. As Mae listened to the anointed minister, she had a flashback of this same minister struggling a few years ago to preach the funeral of an alleged non believer. There was such a difference in the two services. The song, “Let the Life I Lived Speak for Me,” (not endorsing artist nor song) came to mind. Mae is striving. May you, like Mae, strive to live a life that will speak for you.
