Greetings. In the Bible, there are examples of Proverbs 18:24 friendships: David and Jonathan, Paul and Timothy– to name a few. Mae’s late adult child had a true Proverbs 18:24 friend, who did so much. Did the acts of friendship stop with the death? No. This friend is still displaying acts of kindness, etc. to Mae, Mae’s grands, as well as others. The acts are too numerous to mention. Mae had to ask herself if she is that kind of friend. The truth be told, as Mae has blogged, she is a work in progress. Mae’s late child was blessed to have this Proverbs 18:24 friend. May you strive, as Mae is, to be a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
