Greetings. I gave someone a pamphlet that had a checklist about reaching Heaven. The individual said, “I go to church. I keep the ten commandments.” I asked the individual where they would go if they died today. Without any hesitation, they stated, “to hell.” After much conversation, the individual did not confess Christ (not in front of me) but they did say there was a reason for them running into me. I took that as positive. Later that evening as I was thinking about the individual, other individuals came to mind that think going to church, keeping the ten commandments (really???) and good works (I will probably blog on that another time) is the ticket to Heaven. Saints, there is work for us to do. Many do not realize that all it takes is, ADMITTING THAT YOU ARE A SINNER AND ASKING GOD TO FORGIVE YOUR SINS AND BELIEVING THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED ON THE CROSS AND WAS RAISED FROM THE DEAD AND YOU WANT HIM TO BE A PART OF YOUR LIFE AND YOU ACCEPT HIM (WITH YOUR MOUTH AND HEART) AS YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOR. It is just that simple. May someone reading this make that confession so if asked where you will spend eternity, you can (without any doubt) say Heaven (not hell). Mae loves you and wants to see everyone get saved.
