The Relationship

Greetings. I forwarded a relationship saying (that was forwarded to me). Had I known some of the backlash, I WOULD NOT HAVE FORWARDED IT. But as I think back, I now realize it hit nerves because the truth hurts sometimes. The essence of the saying was waiting for who you deserve. Mae is going to take it a step further. Learn to not only wait for who you deserve, but for who God sends you. While you wait, learn to be alone. You heard Mae, LEARN TO BE ALONE. During your time of isolation, seek God and get intimate with Him–romance Him; get into His word. Temptation will come. Jesus was tempted by satan, but He DIDN’T yield. As 1st Corinthians 10:13 says,”there is no temptation without an escape.” When you yield, especially to sexual sin, you become hooked. Mae has been there, done that. What I am saying next is for ladies IN DEAD END RELATIONSHIPS. Have self worth. Ladies, you are beautiful. Remember the saying, I can do bad by myself. Ask yourself, “Self, what is this person offering, besides a presence?” Are you in the same struggle since you been with this person? WHY ARE YOU STILL THERE? You love him? Is love paying your bills and putting food on your table? If you are contemplating marriage to this person, stop fooling yourself. Mae is not saying people do not fall on hard times, but it’s been a year or two of hard times. Wake up. Mae has to give it to you raw, but it’s called tough love. Mae loves you. May your eyes open and may you develop an intimacy with God as you wait on God to send you not only who you deserve, but who He wants you to have.

Loneliness drives people into the presence, arms, whatever of so many wrong people. When you the called of God (which we are), being alone in the world means being present with Him. Learn to be alone!!
