Worldly Men of the Cross

Mae has had the pleasure of being in the company of some middle aged women lately: a few are married; but the majority are single. Within three weeks, Mae has talked to some of the middle aged women, with similar stories. Today’s conversation led Mae to post. To some, not all, single men of the cloth: represent God correctly. God is  Holy.  Asking single women to come over to your house late at night gives the appearance of evil. Asking women to go out of town with you for the weekend, staying in the same hotel room, is not Holy. Telling women what you want to do with them sexually is not Holy. Mae could go on and on. Some of the women questioned your calling and so does Mae. Some women were quick to say that you call yourselves preachers, but act wordly. And guess what?
some of these women are not even believers. Yet they called out your sin and said how turned off they were. To you worldly men of the cloth: May you know that God is not pleased with your behavior and your behavior is not Holy and there is blood on your hands. If you can’t represent God, get out the pulpit/off the stage because you are making a mockery of not only yourself but the church. You are also sending messages that make it hard for the men that are truly called by God.
