Greetings. It’s been a minute. Mae, back in the day, before salvation, was involved with a man who was fourteen years her senior. Well, a few days ago Mae was on social media and a post comment had the same name of a female co-worker from years ago and it was very unusual for her to be commenting on that post. Mae clicked on the profile and yes it was her. Well curiosity or as some would say, nosiness got the best of Mae. And bingo, Mae went through her ex co worker’s friend’s list and their friend’s list, etc. Lo and behold, Mae saw the blast from the past. Besides the natural aging process, he looked the same. Now mind you he wasn’t saved back then and neither was Mae. As Mae looked over his social media page, she saw some glimpses of hope that he got saved. It is amazing how growth in Christ, changes one’s outlook and we become interested in a person’s salvation. While Mae is not sure if he is saved, (Mae is aware that only God knows for sure) Mae is still concerned about his salvation. May you know that disciples of Christ do not want to see anyone perish. Mae will be praying that if he is not saved, that he will get saved because he is definitely an AARP member, (not endorsing AARP; it is just a statement since AARP is associated with aging). Guess what? After looking over his profile, he has given Mae and other AARP members a glimpse of hope– He recently, within a few years, got married again.
