Someone posted on social media that they desire a friendship like the Biblical characters: David and Jonathan, who had a beautiful friendship. After some hard knocks, Mae doesn’t think she could trust a human enough to forge that kind of friendship.  Does Mae have trust issues? Yes she does. If you have been burned as much as Mae has, you’d have trust Issues also. Despite everything, Mae would welcome a David and Jonathan friendship. May you know that there are individuals who  have found their David and Jonathan friendship. Guess what? Mae isn’t one of them; at least not yet.
