Greetings. Mae’s social media ministries have Mae on line more than ever before. One thing Mae is noticing is a disturbing trend. What is this trend? It is where SOME CHRISTIAN men and women are looking for members of the opposite sex on sites that ARE NOT dating sites. Take note, Mae said, “Christian.” Some of the post skim the line of desperate. Yes, desperate. Mae can relate to being desperate– settling and instead of fllling the void with God, filling it with the opposite sex. This trend is not only on line, it bleeds over to off line also. Just the other day, in a conversation with a male relative, he was surprised when Mae shared how God has given Mae peace with being alone, at this season of her life. Mae is using this season to draw closer to God. Mae finally gets what Paul said about singleness in 1st Corinthians 7. Mae blogged on 5/31/19, about learning to be alone and seeking God. That blog was primarily for women. This blog is for men and women. Mae wants to leave you with, may you let your isolation draw you closer to God, not further away AND seek God, instead of man (or woman).
