Greetings. A couple weeks ago, two different incidences involving non believers was brought to Mae’s attention. One was where a non believer stopped attending church because of the constant negativity they experienced from a clergy staff member. This is the one that struck a cord with Mae. The other was a complaint about self righteousness. Anyone can stand on a platform (be it a stage, podium, pulpit etc.) and profess to be holy and righteous, but their actions, outside the platform, show different. Many will tell you that some of the worse hurt comes from family and Christians. Mae can relate. Saints , we have to realize that Christians are under a microscope 24/7. Is it fair? No. That’s just the way it is; it comes with the territory. We, as believers have to represent Christ in all we do. We also have to stop being so self righteous and remember all have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. Sometimes we are the only Bible many see– figuratively speaking. Therefore, ever so often, it is good to do a self check. Yes, a self check. Oh well, Mae has said enough. Mae likes to keep it short. May you know that Mae loves you, but that God loves you more…
