“I am a real man.” Really??? If you have to keep repeating it, who are you trying to convince–yourself (maybe)?? Real men do not walk away from marriages when it no longer benefits them. Yes, Mae went there, MARRIAGES (plural). Mae can honestly say that the church she attends, has real Christian men. Mae is usually oblivious to a lot of things, but has witnessed Godly men, who love the Lord and are not ashamed to cry out to God; men who realize Jesus wept (John 11:35) so they weep; men who love their wives as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25); men who are not afraid to admit their flaws–realizing all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23); men, who like David, are after God’s own heart (Acts 13: 22). Mae could go on and on, but Mae keeps it short. May you, if you haven’t, get a chance to witness Christian men who don’t just give lip service, but actually live the life. As always , much love.
