Are there still churches that do not allow divorced people to hold offices, etc.? If so, I challenge the church to read Roman’s 3:23 that states, “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” Marriage is sacred and God does not like divorce. I get that. I also know that we live in an imperfect world and your church is imperfect. Yes. Mae went there. God can and has used divorced people and there are some anointed divorced individuals. Mae has a divorce label, but it has not stopped Mae’s witness. May you not let divorce stop you from being used by God. Mae loves you but God loves you more, even if you have been divorced.
