Greetings. Let me start off by saying, this blog is not talking about unequally yoked marriages. I am blogging about unequally yoked dating relationships. 2nd Corinthians 6:14 states that one should not be yoked together with an unbeliever(paraphrasing). The scripture also talks about righteousness and wickedness and light and dark. Saints, DO NOT think about hooking up with an unbeliever. If you are a believer in an unequally yoked relationship–flee. Mixing light and dark spells disaster. You can not change the person, only God can. If you are just friends, then this blog post is not talking to you. However, if you are in that unequally yoked dating relationship, take heed. Mae is speaking from experience and experience is the best teacher. It taught Mae a lesson. Okay, you may be saying, your experience and situation is different. If that’s what you believe, then fine. Give it time and you will see. Maybe you will prove Mae wrong and your unsaved sweetheart will become saved due to your Godly (not worldly) witness.
